GraceLane Kennels is a nearly century-old boarding kennel in upstate New York. It is family owned and operated and employs only dedicated individuals with a genuine love of animals. Dog Kennel, Cat Sanctuary

While cats and dogs may get along in private homes, we generally find that everyone is happier when they are boarded separately. That’s why we provide cats with their own private sanctuary, separate from the dogs.

Safe Boarding

All furry visitors are required to show that they are current on their vaccinations before entering or staying in the kennel.

During their stay, a live-in caretaker keeps vigilant watch over boarded pets. In the rare case of illness or injury during boarding, one of the six veterinarians, located within three miles of the kennel, will be called on to care for your dog or cat. In the event of an after-hours problem, two emergency veterinary clinics in Westchester are open 24 hours.

Climate Controlled Stalls and Attached Outdoor Runs

Each dog is provided with a private 4’ by 6’ heated or cooled (depending on the weather) indoor stall and a nearly 10 yard long paved run. During the day, all the stalls are open to the private run areas, allowing the dogs freedom to stay in or get some fresh air outside as they please. Larger stalls are available to allow multiple dogs from the same family to remain together during their stay.

We Maintain Your Pet’s Diet and Medications

To ensure a smooth boarding experience, each boarded pet is provided the same diet on the same schedule they are accustomed to. We provide the brand of food your pet is used to eating at no extra charge.

Medications will be provided as needed and according to your schedule without additional charges.

Free Bath for Longer Stays

For pets spending 5 or more nights with us, a complimentary medicated bath is usually available on the pet’s last day of boarding.

Need Help with Transportation

Pick up and delivery service are available for a fee inside New York City and Westchester.
