You asked—we answered.

Below, you'll find some of the most commonly asked questions by our customers at Gracelane.

Do the dogs get to play with each other?

While the dogs that stay here don't get to play directly in a play group, they do see other side-to-side in their individual outdoor runs and play and interact.

Can I bring my own dog bed?

We like to maintain a very high level of cleanliness and beds tend to get dirty during the stay, so we provide raised beds that we wash during our cleaning process every day.

The beds that we use at Gracelane are made by Kuranda, an industry-leader in raised, orthotic dog beds made from premium materials and immune to chewing. Rest assured, your dog is sleeping on one of the best beds in the business!

If you want to buy a Kuranda bed and support what we do here at Gracelane, we have an affiliate link! Buying through this link does not increase the price you pay, but we get a commission per sale!

What vaccines do you require?

Great question! For dogs, we require Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, and Canine Influenza. For cats, we require Rabies and Feline Distemper.

Does my pet need to be spayed and neutered?

Not at all. Since all of our guests are staying in their own rooms, we do not require this.

Can we bring toys?

At this time, we do not allow toys to come along with your pets. We have found that there is so much external stimulus in the new environment that the dogs do not really engage in their toys from home.

Do we need to bring food?

Not necessarily! We do stock a wide variety of food here, so depending on what you feed your pup, we may be able to supply it in-house. If we do not have your food in stock, we do recommend bringing it with you or sending it with your delivery driver, as a change in diet may upset our four-legged friends stomach.

Is there an Age Cut Off for Boarding?

Yes, we do not take new clients over the age of 12 for dogs and 15 for cats. We have found that boarding in a new environment can be very stressful on our furry friends, and as a result older animals in the new stressful environment do not board well. Clients of ours who have been with us since their pets were younger are grandfathered in and are welcome on a case by case basis.
